Humantyze SimCrisis for Ops Teams is a half-day workshop supported by a web-based training platform that lets your risk, operations, and resilience teams rehearse complex operational crises in a safe, controlled environment. AI generates realistic system alerts, stakeholder messages, and decision points they must manage in real time.

Humantyze SimCrisis immerses participants in realistic operational scenarios such as major system outages, data breaches with service impact, supplier failures, safety incidents, and multi-region disruptions. A facilitator launches the exercise, and the platform continuously generates operational alerts, stakeholder queries, and conflicting internal updates that mirror how events would unfold in the real world. Teams practice crisis governance, impact assessment, cross-functional coordination, and execution of playbooks for risk, operations, technology, and resilience.

How the Simulation Works

Once a session is launched, participants see a four-column live interface showing Operational Events & Systems, Stakeholder & Regulatory Communications, Internal Coordination & Decisions, and External Customer & Public Updates. New alerts, messages, and updates appear in real time, with a ticker and timer tracking how the incident evolves and how quickly the team responds. The facilitator controls the pace, triggering escalations and approving or editing AI-generated injects while participants log decisions, issue internal directions, notify regulators and key clients, and publish customer-facing updates under time pressure.

Customizable Scenarios and AI Behavior

Facilitators can build custom scenarios from scratch or adapt built-in templates, defining triggers, escalation points, key operational stakeholders, and participant roles aligned to your crisis and risk governance. Stakeholder roles such as regulators, major clients, critical suppliers, board risk chair, and insurers shape who sends which messages, making the simulation feel tailored to your operating model. AI content style is adjustable, with options for severity level, tone, and image style, and facilitators can also upload pre-scripted operational “injects” via CSV (for example specific monitoring alerts, regulator letters, or vendor failure notices) to ensure critical events occur at precise moments.

Trainer-Led Briefings and Modern Threats

Each simulation can be delivered as part of a trainer-led workshop, where expert briefings connect the exercise to the latest operational resilience and crisis management practices. In these sessions, your facilitator deconstructs what happened in the simulation and introduces up-to-date techniques for impact assessment, escalation thresholds, governance, and cross-functional runbook execution. The workshop also surfaces emerging risks such as AI-driven attacks (for example deepfakes or spoofed executive instructions) and sophisticated cyber incidents like ransomware, helping teams recognise early warning signs and rehearse coordinated responses across operations, risk, IT/security, legal, and the C-suite.

After-Action Review and Ongoing Improvement

At the end of each simulation, Humantyze SimCrisis produces a comprehensive after-action review with an overall performance score and detailed category scores across response time, quality of decisions, stakeholder management, and crisis containment. The review highlights strengths, areas for improvement, key decision points, and provides a complete event timeline so teams can debrief step by step against their policies, playbooks, and risk appetite. Facilitators can regenerate the AI review for a fresh perspective and download a full simulation log to archive results, share with senior stakeholders and risk committees, or compare performance across multiple exercises.
